Connecting to the Bauchart VPN¶

Many Bauchart.org resources, such as the Minecraft server, operate solely under the protection of the Bauchart Mesh VPN, which is a distribution and hosted version of Netbird.

To obtain access, you must follow this guide.

Downloading the software¶

The softare is available on the Netbird instance. Go to the installation guide and follow the steps outlined there. Afterwards, come back here. Installing it is very simple. Simply run the file downloaded if on windows, drag the App to Applications if on Mac or simply open the app if on a mobile device.

Connecting to the Bauchart Server¶

If you are on MacOS:

• open Netbird in the Menu Bar.
• go to Settings > Advanced Settings.
• got to Management URL and enter netbird.bauchart.org.
• Save and go to the menu bar icon again
• Press Connect

Authenticating¶

The browser tab which will open is from Netbird. Press Niosem SSO and log into the following flows from the Authentication server.:

• Enter your username first
• Then, when prompted, your password.
• If you are asked, allow/continue to Headscale and wait until the page says 'you can now close thins window'.
